So, some little birdies have been chirping!
So, here’s some interesting info for you all that we have gathered from numerous sources. Remember, these are just rumors until substantiated.
The rumored (and mental!) release schedule we’ve been hearing about is in fact true. We will see Chaos, Warriors of Chaos, Dark Angels, Daemons for Fantasy and 40K as well as the Hobbit, all this year! Wow, that is hard to believe but I have been told that GW recognizes that they need to get as many armies up to date as possible and that there are other factors at play such as marketing and merchandising at play here.
Also, the Apocalypse book is scheduled to be redone soon, bringing it in line with 6th ed rules. I don’t think this is a surprise to anyone as the rules are from 4th ed. I have been hearing that we have about a 6 month window on this one, give or take a few months.
We’ve also been hearing that the Horus Heresy FW books will be revealed at Gamesday UK, which is coming up September 23rd. So get ready to see that first(s?!) Primarch models!! Can’t wait for this.
Lastly, we have been hearing that Forgeworld will in fact be casting a Warlord Titan (we’ve been hearing this for a while) but, and this I almost find hard to believe, that they will be making an Emperor class Titan! Yowzers! Those things would be over 4′ tall if built to scale. We’ll see if that is true, but that would be pretty amazing to behold!
