Frankie and I try out some crazy Deathstars again in this game just for laughs. In upcoming battle we will be playing with “normal” lists as that is more likely what people will be playing.

So if you get Biomancy with the Carnifex deathstar, you can roll a 3 to that It Wont Die power (along with Feel Now Pain and Relentless) for a 5+ regen on the whole squad….cuz merely spreading out all the wounds isnt enough lol

Our whole gaming group is thinking of going fantasy since 6th ed dropped its rules the way it did.. but maybe there is hope for us yet.

I really enjoy your Battle reports, as well as; your articles since I stumbled onto your reports on the Necrons back in January or so. I think you guys are doing a good job. I tend to peak in to see your guys opinion on whats competitive and over all health of the game.
Well Down to my questions, First have any of you played Necrons within 6th Ed? Any Chance of seeing a Battle report on them? While the Codex makes a lot more since now in some regards I was wondering about how they play? Though After ready the FAQ on Flyer Im eager to try them out.
Also with regards to tournaments, what changes having been tossed around to make the rules more tournament friendly?(not saying they are not but still curious)

Hey Nick, glad you like our stuff!
Well, we think tournaments will be fine, but it will take some tweaking. We are talking about letting people roll once for Warlord traits and then letting them pick from any of the 3 categories for that number. That lets people diminish the randomness. We are also strongly considering dropping or changing random terrain as it can be so powerful. We also discussed presetting the mysterious objectives so that people know what they are and can plan for it. One thing I think we will certainly do is have at least 1 objective always give skyfire to help mitigate the advantages flyers will have before armies get flyer defense.
Crons are AWESOME in 6th. A real powerhouse. We will certainly do a battle report with them, it will just take us some time to get another army in the store together and painted (we sold the last one).
Wow. Another great battle report! 😀 I really like the new longer reports and seeing so many games of 6th ed. It’s great to see the small mistakes you guys are making so I can make mental notes of things I need to do in my games. This one was a beautiful mess! Can’t wait for the next video 🙂
