The Bay Area Open is imminent!
After months of preparation and an anticipation, the BAO 2012 is finally upon us!
Tomorrow, the fun and games will begin with our first Team Tournament and the first round of Warmachine. The 40K Doubles will be a more relaxed affair, and overall attendance Friday will be much lighter than Saturday and Sunday with only 2 events ongoing. We expect this to be a fun, laid back day of gaming and good times.
Saturday, the heat gets turned up to an 11! This will be our busiest day, with 40K Singles, Fantasy Singles, Warmachine, FoW, and the 40K Narrative all happening simultaneously.
Sunday, all of the above minus the 40K Narrative, so we expect this to still be a busy day, but slightly less so. Sunday will also see who walks away with the title in all of our multi-day events!
Entrance is free for all, so come on by just to check things out if you are curious. There will be some great vendors selling specialty products, and sales on gaming goodies from Frontline Gaming!
After all the hard work it takes to set one of these events up (literally hundreds of hours of work) we can’t wait to see everyone, have fun and enjoy a great weekend of gaming.
We will do our best to bring coverage of the event as it happens, but we were just informed that the venue’s internet is down and technicians are trying to fix it. That will obviously hamper our ability to cover the event, but we will do what we can to keep you guys updated on the developments as they happen.
See you all there!
Best of luck guys, hope its a great one
Thanks!
I wet myself a little reading that.
Hahaha, glad you’re excited for it! We’ll be at the venue from 5 to 8pm tonight if you want to come by and set up your table.
Hey Reecius!
I know you’re insanely busy, but I was wondering if it’s too late to collect further stats for this

It would just be a quick box on the score sheets and they’re finding some really fascinating info.
