Reader Aaron writes in to tell us about his awesome looking Scarab Farm Army!
Aaron sent us a link to his awesome looking Necron Scarab Farm list seen here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/11721999@N00/sets/72157629060858824/ and let us know that it was inspired by our site, which is super cool!
He used our Wraith and Spyder conversions and Necron list ideas to make his own, very powerful 1750pt Scarab Farm list that looks like it will be the business on the table top.
Hearing things like this makes us really happy. It is awesome to know that people like our ideas and use them to good success for themselves.
We want to wish Aaron the best of luch in this year’s tournament season and hopefully we’ll see you around at an event!

is there any best paint or best army award?
Oh wow, that is an awesome army, too! Would you mind if we did a story on that? The black light/glowing touch is boss!
And yes, there are several painting awards at the BAO!
Hey that’s me!
Just wanted to say thanks again to Reecius and Co for putting their work up for us to see, especially the Wraith and Spyder conversions, of which there isn’t a lot out there right now. That really helped me see that I could get this going in time for our local 1750 tournament called the Guardian Cup a four round no comp tourney in Portland, Or. – http://www.ordofanaticus.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=11426
I’m still learning how to play this list, what to match up against what, but have been doing a lot better than with my Daemons!
Glad to hear that you are doing well with your list! That is super cool to see our concepts being used effectively and people turning them into their own, unique creations. Good luck with the army!
for the green translucent stalactites did you use the frames from the markets kit? nice job on the objective markers very cool
Yeah i used the green frames that come with the green rods. I found that only two sides worked well as they have the least amount of stamped printing.
