So… what happened to the guy that cheated with a +300 army. Seems kind of amazing that someone could get away with this. I am sure you guys there see a tonne of lists and could pick it out. However maybe not. Good pod casts keep it up. Oh yea you guys planning on doing any more 6th edition battles. I still like the rule set and would enjoy watching the one turn video you guys had planned. Hey Beasts of war never said anything about Stratagems which seems very weird… Since if i was talking to GW that’s the first question out of my mouth.
I don’t think anything happened! Haha, by the time they realized what happened, it was too late.
The one turn video is in the works, we just got swamped with some other work and fell behind.
reecius you posted a good story on 6th. You having any new opinions after what went down with Beasts of War. Or the release is just to far out and no one knows anything.
Good to hear your not stopping the 6th video. It’s some interesting insight to the new rules.
As someone who came back to 40K just cause of the new leaked rule set it is good to here more information on it.

Sounds like will got royally …..screwed… And it seems like jy2 is the unfortunate thorn in teamcomp0s foot. Between the painting score 300+ point winner and the ring situation sounds like a bit of a mixed up effed up tourney. Or someone just had it out for you guys this weekend lol. Hopefully will will post up some of his batreps from this weekend
The Pairings with the Ringer turned out to be random, it was just bad luck for Will. The nid player barely beat Frankie with 300pts too many, so we’ll count that as a win for us! Haha. I wasn’t there, but the guys all said it was a great event, and they’d happily go back next year. Just wasn’t our weekend!
Yeah, Jy2 seems to have our number lately! He gets crazy lucky against us. Frankie and I beat he and SabrX in a team game. He tied me twice when I was way out ahead, I tied him once when he was way out ahead, and he’s beaten me twice. I’ll get him eventually, he’s just a damn good player and has a bit of good luck. Frankie lost to him when he only had 3 models left on the board! Haha, he got lucky and the game ended when he needed it to.
I’d like to send a big ‘thank you’ to Reece for playing in the Contest of Champions and for the kind words – it is appreciated! I hope we could get the BAO a few more attendees, I am looking forward to playing this year.
One small correction, the Contest of Champions prize support is not $15. We give out about $350 each tournament, spread over 4 different categories. Other than that, I really do appreciate hearing that you had a good time, we work really hard to make the CoC something special and hearing stuff like this makes it all worth it. I look forward to seeing Team Zero Comp again soon!
Thanks again
Sirus
It was a great event! I had a really good time. Sorry if we misspoke on the prize support, I think we meant the ticket was $15. Thank you for clarifying that.
Looking forward to having you all at the BAO!
