The infamous Tastey Taste breaks out his new Necrons and challenges Reecius’ Footdar to a battle for the ages!
Tastey Taste was trying out a new, experimental build in his first fore into the tomb world. He was using 3 Monoliths and was planning on pulling some interesting shenanigans on Reecius’ Footdar, who also have been known to pull some pretty crafty moves themselves!
So who will win? Watch and find out!
Mission: Pitched Battle, 5 objectives.
So, the infamous Tastey Taste of Blood of Kittens fame wanted to try out his new Necron list. He is a buddy of ours and hangs out at the shop frequently, so he came by to get a game in.
He and I last battled at a tournament, his Daemons vs. my Footdar. We played a tight game, but the deciding factor was Tastey’s GUO’s both misshaping. This allowed my Footdar to focus fire his other daemons down and earn the W.
This go around, Tastey Taste knows what my Footdar are capable of, and will plan for it. However, this is his first game with Crons and a list neither of us has seen played before. That, and I have not been playing at all lately due to getting the new store up and running.
What do you guys think? Will the Pointy Ears beat their eons old enemy, or will the Necrons finally smash the pesky Eldar?

Coming into the game I felt confident that my Fire Dragons and Wraith Lords could handle the Monoliths. However, if Tastey Taste played aggressively with those Immortals, he could smoke my infantry quickly. Plus, the Monoliths can pump out a ton of flak fire and throw Particle Whips all over the place, so I could be in trouble.
The Traiarchs with Destroyer Lord were a bit of an X factor, as they were very mobile, but I wasn’t certain how effective they’d be. I trusted that the Avatar and Harlies could take them down.
I felt that Night Fight would be a slight hinderance, as t meant I would most likely not be able to take early game shots at the Monoliths as we advanced towards each other, but it also meant he would have trouble shooting me until we hit close range.
Mostly though, there were a lot of unknowns with the new book and me being a bit rusty.
