Company of Heroes 2 is a very good WW2 RTS developed by the same guys who made the Dawn of War Series. Newer then Dawn of War 2 but a few years old now.
Loved this round table discussion.
I was following the development of Necromunda for PC. Unfortunately the Inquisition has erased all traces of that game and it appears DOA. Basically no news since they dropped a cinematic trailer in 2018. Allegedly it is coming in 2020.
I also need to speak up for my favorite genre and let you know you were missing a turn based skirmish POV from your game history.
Chaos Gate was an awesome game I wish we had more of.
Most people know the XCOM genre and I think that would be a perfect platform for a space marine centric game.
A small squad of customizable marines that gain experience and go on special forces type missions. That type of game depends entirely on a good campaign story.
Call of Duty: 40,000. That is all.
